Our company is growing quickly, and we are in need of a Landscape Construction Team Lead to help coordinate work on our project sites. If you have several seasons under your belt, enjoy leading people, and want to take the next step in your career, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

Assign tasks based on work schedules, keep workers on task

complete timesheets

Inspect the quality of work to ensure job requirements are met.

Instruct crew members on proper work standards.

Interact with customers to resolve issues or answer questions.

Crew leaders, also called foreperson, work along with crew members in completing all landscaping installations.

Operate a variety of hand tools and equipment such as packers, chain saws, hedge shears, sod cutters, pruning saws, mowing equipment, etc. to complete landscape and garden projects.

Could be responsible for multiple projects on the go at various stages of completion

Ensure all appropriate materials are available to meet construction schedule

Ensure that all safety checks and regular maintenance is performed on all equipment including rentals.

Continual commitment to training crew members

Position includes snow removal in addition to standard responsibilities in winter months

Experience Requirements

Proven landscape construction experience (preference is given to those with prior supervisory experience)

Experience operating various types of equipment (skid steer and mini excavator are essential)

Strong working knowledge in the following areas of landscape construction, including: grading & drainage, precast pavers and retaining walls, concrete forming and finishing, ponds, rivers, and fountains, natural stone, and horticulture.
