What we need from you:
- Minimum 5 years of landscape construction experience
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of landscaping principles, techniques, and materials, including plant care, irrigation systems, hardscaping, and turf management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve goals and exceed expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritize, and delegate tasks effectively, while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Proficiency in operating landscaping equipment and machinery, with a commitment to safety and proper use.
- Valid G driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50lbs repetitively and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Certification in landscaping, horticulture, or related field is a plus.
What you will do:
- Lead and motivate a crew of landscapers, assigning tasks and providing guidance to ensure work is completed effectively and on schedule.
- Oversee the execution of landscaping projects, including planting, hardscaping tasks.
- Participate in snow removal operations during the winter season
- Ensure that all work is carried out according to company standards and client specifications, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Manage equipment and materials, ensuring that they are used efficiently and maintained properly.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations, promoting a culture of safety among crew members.
- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing any questions or concerns and providing updates on project progress.
- Train new crew members and provide ongoing coaching and support to facilitate their professional development.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, including hours worked, materials used, and project expenses.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to optimize workflows and achieve company goals.
- Represent Partridge Fine Landscapes in a professional manner at all times, fostering positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
